Day 7: Favorite Angel (besides Castiel)

Castiel is my favoirte angel actually however I guess the next favorite angel would be Gabriel.  I enjoy his sense of humor and love almost all the episodes that featured him either as himself or Loki.  Most of the other angels I just didn't care for and if there is another I can't think of him/her at this moment.  ;P

FYI, I don't plan on leaving Livejournal but did back up my journal to dreamwidth.  I'm kuwlshadow there too!

Not something I've thought about before. I agree with Dean that Angels are mostly dicks.

I liked Gadreel, however. He was a tragic figure who just couldn't catch a break. If he hadn't killed Kevin, he'd be probably in my fanfic writing and reading, but yeah, that stung.

The other one I immediately thought of was Anna. I liked her interaction with Castiel, her love scene with Dean and her understanding that Dean would sell her out to save Sam. That was awesome.

I also liked Hannah, until she turned out to be a dick, manipulating Castiel, but she didn't want to kill him, even if she lacked any sense of morals. Most angels do, really.

So Anna probably floats to the top, but I'd like to give Gadreel an honerable mention.

As far as funny angels go, I actually kinda prefer Balthazar to Gabriel. Even back in his trickster days, the guy never did much for me. As for favorite angel overall *points to icon*. Gadreel's not as much of a good guy as he wants to be - or, you know, a guy at all - but he's a fascinating and sympathetic character.

Oh yes, Gabriel was a fun character and died far too soon.
